I was on a great webinar yesterday all about adding value to your potential customers. It is very common in the digital world to be constantly asked for business; please buy this, this is probably the best solution you’ll find buy here, etc etc. Yet it is better to actually give advise, help and information, with your business, as this engages people and helps grow trust in what you offer.
Think of it like a bank; if you deposit help, guidance and assistance in your account every now and again you can withdraw with sales.

Too much time on your hands?
Here is something which I bet you give away for free all the time and yet it has a significant value. Some people really deserve it whereas others don’t, you also sell this most days and I bet if you tried hard enough you could get more for your money. What is it? Well guessed – time!
When you start your own online business you really need to know the value of your time. Apart from anything, you are going to feel like you have very little of it, with all the information you are taking in you can feel like you run out of time without accomplishing anything.
My advice, if you are struggling with something , stop doing it, go back to it and concentrate on the tasks you know you can do now. Often a break means you can find a new solution to what you struggled with the day before. Set your tasks out and post them on your wall. Do a bit each day, and you’ll accomplish a lot in no time.
Finally if you can get someone else to do something for you for less than you are worth then you should do it, it’s called outsourcing!
